Karen Woytach is the teacher for both the Kindergarten Readiness Program as well as the Foundations/Transitions program. She has her BS in Elementary Education and her MS in Reading Education, both from the University of Scranton. Karen has worked in the field of early childhood education in many settings for over 15 years. Most recently, Karen worked for 9 years at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in both first grade and preschool.
Karen strives to provide a comfortable, exciting and nurturing environment for the children in her classroom so that they become confident and engaged lifelong learners. Observing as a child discovers, explores, and embraces the world around them makes working with young children one of Karen’s greatest passions.
A native New Yorker, Karen now lives in Olyphant with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, music, reading, and taking her children to all of their activities. Karen also enjoys keeping in touch with former students and their families long after they leave her classroom. They will always have a cheerleader in her!
