Status of Plans for Public Worship

Public Worship Plans at Trinity:

Under normal circumstances on the Sunday following the Labor Day weekend, we would return to our normal fall schedule for worship and Sunday Church School.  But 2020 is anything but “normal.”  Given the continuing risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, the church council this week has put in place the following arrangements beginning on Sunday, September 13:
1)  As long as face masks are required, our worship services will continue in the abbreviated format of 45 minutes.
2)  These services of worship will continue to begin at 10:00 AM.
3)  Sunday Church School will resume on September 13 (or soon after September 13).  Sunday Church School will be reduced in time to 35 minutes beginning at 9:15 AM and ending at 9:50 AM each Sunday morning. These classes will be in the format of one large classroom meeting downstairs in the gathering hall until we are able to return to our normal fall schedule.
4)  A second abbreviated worship service will be added on Sunday mornings at 8:15 AM when the 10:00 AM service reaches a steady attendance of approximately 40 people.
5.) We will be able to return to the normal schedule when masks are no longer required.
